Geoffrey Kleinman is a writer, educator, and entrepreneur.

Geoffrey has been involved with the internet since 1988 with BitNet, and with prior to that with PopNet. His "Inkblot's Spot" in 1985 was one of the early online bulletin boards.

After earning a Batchelor of Science in Cinema & Photography at Ithaca College in 1992, Geoffrey moved to Los Angeles where he worked as an assistant editor for Chanticleer Films, and as an Agent's Assistant at Creative Artists Agency.

In 1993 Geoffrey moved to Portland Oregon and became a principal at one of the first Web Design companies Vulcan's Forge. He authored one of the first online business-oriented email newsletters "The Kleinman Report".

Geoffrey worked at Intel in Internet E-Commerce and Marketing from 1996-1999 where he ran the Intel Owner's Club which became one of the largest consumer affinity programs in Intel's history.

In 1998 Geoff created DVDTalk.com which he grew to be one of the top 1,000 trafficked sites online. It was acquired by Internet Brands in 2007. During this time he created one of the first Podcasts "DVD Talk Radio" and regularly contributed to WGN Radio and Air America. He also had a regular TV segment on AM Northwest on KATU TV.

In 2010, Geoff created DrinkSpirits.com. He was nominated in 2013 for Best Writing by the Tales of The Cocktail Spirited Awards. He also had a regular radio show on KPAM Radio, "The Drink Spirits Happy Hour."

In 2012 Kleinman was awarded the honor of Kentucky Colonel from Steve Beshear, the governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He was also awarded Gold Certification from the BNIC (Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac) as a Certified Cognac Educator.

Geoff's writing has been featured in many publications including Whisky Advocate, and Playboy Magazine. He has appeared on ABC News, The Wall Street Journal, and in Playboy Magazine.:
